Add sponsors and a donation link

Publish your club’s supporters in e.Vernetzt: a donation link members can tap, a sponsor list with tiers, the rules the links must follow, and the limits.

A club can show two kinds of support on its page: a donation link for members, and the businesses that back it. Both are optional, and both are hidden entirely until you fill them in — no empty shells for you to explain.

Editing these is for owners and admins. Every accepted member can see the result.

Where to edit them

  1. Open the club from the navigation drawer.
  2. In Update profile, tap Club Details.
  3. Fill in the donation link, the sponsor list, or both.
  4. Tap Save.

For sponsors you can also use the club home screen’s + menu and pick New sponsor, which opens the same editor with the add-sponsor sheet already up.

Paste the club’s own donation page — a PayPal.me page, for example. It has to be an absolute https address; anything else is rejected when you save rather than quietly stored.

Members then see a Support banner on the club page. Tapping it asks them first, showing the site it is about to open, and then opens it in the in-app browser with that address visible the whole time.

Leave the field empty and the banner disappears.

Sponsors

Each sponsor has:

  • a name — required, up to 80 characters,
  • a subtitle — optional, up to 120 characters,
  • a tier — gold, silver or bronze, which sets the badge on the card,
  • a website — required, and https like the donation link.

The link is required because tapping through is the only thing a sponsor card does. A card without one would be a dead end.

A club can list up to 30 sponsors. The list you save replaces the whole list, in the order you put them in, so removing one is a matter of deleting it and saving.

What this is not

It is a link out, not a payment integration. The app never sees a card number, and nothing about a donation comes back into it.

That means donations do not appear in the club ledger. If you want them in your books, record them as income by hand — see Record club income and expenses.

Notes

  • Bad links are caught as you type, on the field, rather than as a failed save.
  • One invalid sponsor stops the whole list from saving. That is deliberate: a partial save would look like it worked while quietly losing a row.
  • The app re-checks every link again before opening it, so a value stored before these rules existed still cannot get through.
