Child Safety Standards
At e.Vernetzt, the safety and well-being of our community — and of minors above all — is the highest priority. The platform is a tool for a club's own internal work, and that is exactly why it needs firm rules against any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and against inappropriate contact. We hold a zero-tolerance policy toward child abuse, exploitation, and any content or behaviour that breaks child safety law.
1. Code of conduct: prohibited behaviour
Everybody using e.Vernetzt must follow these rules. Failing to do so results in immediate investigation, removal of the content, and potentially permanent suspension of the account.
- No Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): creating, sharing, displaying or possessing any content depicting child sexual abuse is strictly forbidden and is reported to law enforcement immediately.
- No solicitation or grooming: any attempt to solicit minors for inappropriate content or sexual contact, or to engage in grooming behaviour, is prohibited.
- No sharing the private information of minors: do not share personal or identifying information about a minor without explicit legal authorisation.
- No harmful or abusive content: content that encourages or facilitates harm to minors, including physical abuse and severe harassment, is forbidden.
2. Member management and safety features
e.Vernetzt has built-in features that promote a safer environment:
- Parent and child accounts: a membership for a minor is managed and overseen by a parent or legal guardian, which adds a layer of parental control.
- Targeted communication: communication is generally limited to official club groups and roles, which minimises unsolicited interaction.
- Club-based access: the club feed and member directory are restricted to confirmed members of that specific club.
- Clear age requirements: everybody must represent their age truthfully when creating an account.
3. Reporting a child safety concern
We rely on our community to help keep this a safe environment, and there are clear, reachable ways to report content or behaviour that breaks these standards:
- Reporting in the app: posts, messages and profiles carry a visible report option that flags the content directly for review.
- Reporting by email: concerns can be sent to our safety team at safety@binarieslab.com at any time, day or night.
- How reports are handled: every report is treated confidentially and reviewed by trained personnel. High-priority reports — particularly those involving potential CSAM or immediate harm — are escalated for swift action, up to removal of the content and termination of the account.
4. Legal compliance and reporting to authorities
e.Vernetzt complies with the regional, national and international laws that govern child safety, including mandatory reporting requirements for CSAM and child exploitation.
- Mandatory reporting: if we become aware of, or reasonably suspect, CSAM or any illegal activity involving a minor, we preserve the relevant data and report the incident immediately to the appropriate law enforcement agencies — such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, or the relevant authority elsewhere.
- Cooperation: we cooperate fully with law enforcement in the investigation and prosecution of anybody who violates child safety laws.
